Yes, FacetWP supports listing and filtering of posts, pages, and any custom post type (as long as it is searchable).

Additionally, with a Professional license you can install the User Post Type add-on, which allows you to map users to a upt_userpost type, which can the be used to display and filter users.

Note that you don’t need to “tell” a facet which posts or post type it needs to index or filter. All searchable post types are indexed for all facets. And facets will filter whatever post type(s) is/are in the query of the FacetWP-enabled listing template on the page.
