Add static listings with the FacetWP Listing widget

Add a static listing with the FacetWP Elementor Listing widget.

This version introduces the possibility to add static Listing Builder listings with the FacetWP Listing widget. A “static” listing is a listing that does not react to facets.

You can even add multiple static listings to a page, also to a page that already has a “normal” filterable (non-static) listing. Keep in mind that there should be only one filterable (non-static) listing on a page.

Note that static Listing Builder listings did already exist and can also still be added with a shortcode or PHP.

We added often requested support for the Elementor Pro Loop Carousel widget. To use FacetWP with a Loop Carousel widget, add the widget to your page and enable FacetWP in its settings.

Other fixes and improvements

  • The FacetWP Facet widget and Listing widget now show the facet/listing labels and names in the setting dropdown. They are displayed as “label (name)”, as can be seen in above screenshot of the Listing widget. Previously only the facet/listing labels were shown. This change was made because facet and listing names are unique, but labels not necessarily so.
  • All supported listing widgets now work better in combination with the “Load more” Pager facet type. Newly loaded posts are now properly appended to the existing listing container, instead of added in new repeated containers.
