Version 1.4 of the A-Z Listing add-on was released on August 19, 2024.

This version introduced two new hooks. The facetwp_alpha_chars can be used to replace the characters displayed in the facet, add new ones, delete specific ones, or replace the whole A to Z range.

Used together with the new facetwp_alpha_remove_accents hook, it is now also possible to add characters for languages that use another alphabet, or to let the facet match accented characters (like e.g. Ñ). It is even possible to use emojis or other special characters.
