How to create a month and/or year facet?

You can use the facetwp_index_row hook to create a facet with months and years (or only years or months) as facet choices.

The facet’s data source can be the Post Date or any other custom field that stores dates, like the ACF Date (Time) Picker field.

To create a facet that filters posts by date / time since a specified interval, you can use the Time Since facet type.
